Dr. Alana Alpern
Dr. Alana Alpern graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007. Through her experience practicing Sports Medicine at Golden Gate Fields, she was exposed to the healing results of veterinary acupuncture and chose to continue her education in acupuncture and herbal therapies at The Xi Institute in Reddick, FL in 2008. Since that time Dr. Alpern has been providing Eastern medicine along with other noninvasive modalities of treatment to creatures large an small creating alternative and complimentary choices for animal guardians in the bay area. Outside of veterinary medicine Dr. Alpern enjoys teaching barre fitness classes at The Dailey Method Berkeley studio and spending time with her family.
Dr. Adam Brown
Dr. Adam Brown graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 and completed an internship at San Francisco Veterinary Specialists in 2008. Dr. Brown's attention to medical detail, thorough explanations to animal guardians, connection to his feline and canine patients and friendly demeanor have made him a trusted member of the veterinary community for over a decade. Outside of veterinary medicine, DR. Brown enjoys nature and spending timne with his family.
